Limit of Love is understated, yet memorable. The album is a collision of mellow tunes and a mess of vibrant tones; an innovative fusion of folk and rock. This is the third studio album the Australian band has produced, but it seems like they’re more experienced.
Hosking’s vocals glide over the smooth guitar and synth tones. ‘Walk the Wire’ is definitely worth your attention. Check out the acoustic version here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZWCOwGF7aPg
Albeit an unconventional analogy, Limit of Love is like a seriously good bubble bath. Initially, it absorbs you with an unprecedented ease. With time, however, it becomes a little… lukewarm. It’s not something I could listen to on repeat.
A striking record containing a multitude of intriguing instrumental features.
